This is the 14th annual Addison Steadman Singles Tournament. Addison Steadman was our friend, gentle soul, and court attendant who passed away 14 years ago. We play in his honor.
The Tournament will be held over two weekends: July 16-17 and July 23-24. In case of rain delay, play will be pushed to the following weekends as needed.
The tournament has 2 draws. A draw (4.5 +) and B draw ( 4.0 -)
The format is Fort Greene-style Fast4 scoring:
• The winner is whoever wins the best of three Fast 4 sets.
• If a set goes to 3 all then play to 5.
• If a set goes to 4 all, play a 7-point tiebreaker with win-by-2 scoring.
• If tied at 1 set apiece, the third set is a 10-point tiebreaker with win-by-2 scoring.
• If a set goes to 3 games all, play the set to 5 games.
• All games use ad scoring.
